I was thinking, if we want more people to start playing we should ask some easier questions, though not stupid easy. How about this one: Who told Melian the truth behind the return of the Noldor?

I like that idea, Maglor. If memory serves, it was Galadriel, but only after Melian sensed that she was hiding something.

Yep . Galadriel grudgingly told Melian the truth of the flight of the Noldor.

Alright. What land did King Elessar give to the vanquished servants of Mordor?

wasn't it the land to the south of Barad-Dur where the lands where not so charred and wasted? where the 2 mountain ranges of Mordor drew towards each other...
I can't explain it more fully, because this is a one-time revisit for a while again. so, if inadvertantly I got the answer right, here's my own question (ignore it if I am wrong):
What was Kingsfoil in Quenya? Easy one, so I don't have to be bothered to return and give the answer, so it should be confirmed by several other people who should know the answer. (If no-one knows it, which I doubt, just look it up, should be somewhere around chapter 7 of RotK or so.

I don't know if your answer is right, but if it is: I believe the right answer to your question is: Athelas. In fact I don't remember it from that chapter, but I remember it from the Fellowship movie ;D I'll wait to see if your answer is right, before I post my question, which I'll have to think of first

I'd say that Turgon's answer is basically right. Specifically, RotK names it the area of/around Lake Nurnen.
So, that's good enough for me.
As for Kingsfoil's name in Quenya, I don't know for sure, but athelas is what I would guess, too. (If it's not Quenya, then it would have to be Sindarin.)

For sure, athelas. ArPharazon, you got it.

Ok, new question then.
This question may be very easy for those who have participated in the research we have done a few meetings ago, but here it is:
Who first prophecized that the Witch-King would not fall by the hand of man?

Good, I like the fact that you added location when I didn't ask Your turn Arathorn. Ask your question.

FYI: Concerning Kingsfoil, the word "athelas" is Sindarin. Since you've moved on, I'll mention the Quenya name is "asea aranion".

Which two warriors hunted Sauron's wolves in the Guarded Plains and who did they take with them to help?

Question is a bit unclear to me. Is this First Age or Third Age? I would assume Third since it says Sauron, not Morgoth, but since I was going to answer from the First Age I wanted to make sure :}
