hehe - not pompous, we agree. Proud, with proper Noldo role-playing and unlike your normal sweet self, yes. He treated King Thranduil as if he were a baron rather than a king, and spoke coldly, so he has to expect some bristling.

A small excerpt from a chat had with Eonwe and Pharazon yesterday eve, after the meeting:
The current standing in the RP doesn't allow much for us to do. It is (or was) a conversation between Thranduil and Auros, and as Thranduil rises to leave, there is little room for us (or at least me, while I am present) to do anything. I cannot do anything unless asked to speak.

So, anyone want to play my brother? Cheers! Anyone can be in this feasting, singing, and dancing scene. We can even have quick cameos from members who don't plan to continue with the party.

Something I need to know before I can post my reply in the RP:
Have we already gone to the Atrium, or are we still dancing? ;D

Well, I've decided to finally jump in and prolong the festivities. We can't be too quick to rush to battle just yet

If no one else added to the dance scene, I was going to switch to the atrium. I'm looking forward to Haran's bit! We can say that this does not take long. Some of the warriors will already be moving to the atrium, although our three still seem to be dancing, unless everyone chickens out of trying the dwarvish type. If we hear something going on in the atrium, we will break off what we are doing and move there.

Hmmm .. ok then .. I won't have Haran introduce the "Canter of All Nations" dance that involves 5 head of cattle, 17 horsemasters and their mounts, 36 freshly baked breads upon the heads of scattered geese and a crocolisk with a big red bow on its head (takes about 17 days to complete...)
hmm.. think I'VE been playing too much WoW...?
too much.. relative to anything else I guess :-P

Chapter 3: The Halls has been wrapped up and closed, since I was the last to post. The next part will involve the trip to and business in and around the Lonely Mountain (I imagine we won't be running into anything super dangerous between Mirkwood and Erebor :}) as it should all be able to fit well into the same chapter.
I'll start that one later in the week. While we're in transition between chapters, now's a good time to see who's still with us. Obviously I am :} so Auros is still here.
In the meantime, read the last part(s) of Chapter 3, do a bit of research on the geography we're heading into, make a few comments, and be ready to go :}
Take care :} Eonwë

Well, I'm still here, and will be for a long time. In fact, I may be doing two storylines at once, both of Calion and of Calaron/Helvy. I will be carefully studying the Geography east of Mirkwood and around the Lonely Mountain, 'though I do not know the way'. The exact way we plan to take to Erebor, that is. But I'll guess we'll see that when the time comes.
Onward to Erebor!!

Part 4: Erebor is begun. It begins the morning we leave. I was going to take it up to our actual depareture time, but decided to split it into two parts and cut the first part off as Auros is hearing the morning reports at approximately dawn. I did this to give you guys a chance to have a post on maybe preparations, give a bit more about your character, that kind of thing. My second post will carry us up to the departure time and then off onto the journey. I'll make it in a couple of days.
For guild members wishing to join in: Good time to become a Silvan Elf :} We've got a set of seven guards to choose from, 4 spearmen, 3 archers. Dwarves possible in Erebor, possibly a Noldo scout or two as well( read the stories for more information :}).
Take care :} Eonwë

Hail!
So you know why it's been a month since the last piece in the RP: I've been holding off on my next piece until the new version kicks in, but I may not hold off much longer. My next piece comes soon, so be ready! :}

Tubers are like roots, actually they are usually underground stems. They thicken with food for a new plant bud, or a hungry camper! Think of this reference as something like peeling potatoes.
