Finally, one I think I know.
He was looking for Gollum, he found Gollum, he entrusted the woodelves with the guard over Gollum.
Did I get it right?

Aye, He & Gandalf tracked Gollum back and forth over the years, Aragorn finally caught Gollum near the Dead Marshes. Aragorn left Gollum in the Wood Elves custody Prior to the beginning of The Fellowship of The Ring...Setting up Legolas's entrance with the news that Gollum had escaped from the elves. Ok, next question?

Sorry that took so long. Flu is a horrible thing.
How old was Arwen when Aragorn died?

Go ahead and look it up if you're stuck. It's a bit higher than that, Turgon. Whee, I actually made people think! What a horrible person I am!

3019-420 =2599 2599+120 = 2719
So I have to say 2,719 based on other people's numbers :}
Take care :} Eonwë

ok ok 3019 is third age...so...3019 - 240 = 2779 so she's 2779 at the end of the third age I think, then 120 years until aragorn dies, and doesn't she die one year later...so 2779 + 121 = 2900 years, approximately... by my calculations... anywhere close Khaira?

Once again, sincerest apologies for the delay.
By my calculations, ElrondV got it right on the nose.
Go ahead and ask the next question!

Maybe I'm the only one getting sick of how old peoplewere when this and that event happened so how about, for lack of a better question, What substance did the elves of Lothlorien use to weave ropes and garments? p.s. I will not accept "elf hair" Gwaihir...

heh, since you make that only apply to Gwaihir, my answer will be:
Elf Hair!
