11/07/08. 9pm EST. The Valar Guild will return to Carn Dum!
Our goal will be to continue on the path of defeating the Carn Dum bosses. This time, we will start with Helchgam (if necessary) and move on from there to Azgoth and the Cargul (whose name I cant remember).

Friday, Oct 31st, at 9pm EDT I will be hosting a Carn dum run.
This run will focus mainly on deeds, with the Boss deed being foremost. This particular run will aim at Barashal (Primarily), Urro (Incidentally), and Helchgam (Possibly). Your troll and orc deeds will advance as well. Hope to see you there!

I know I'm expecting too much posting this here, but I have some insidious ways to try getting ahold of people who never come here, rest assured! Muwahahahaha!!!
Anyway, Book 12 adds several new trophies which turn into house decorations. These trophies come from bosses in instances, like Ivar in Garth Agarwen and Helchgam in Carn Dum. I was hoping we might be able to get some kinspeople to join up and hit these instances for the trophies, maybe one day a week?
What I need from the rest of you though is help on picking a day. Right now Monday I think is our official LOTRO hunt day, but I don't think we actually utilize it that way. Does Monday work for everyone? Or should I try a different day?
Let me know.

I can probably be there, and I've been in the rift several times already so maybe I can help with strategy or something.

So, Book 11 comes out Wednesday. High time to think about the band! Right now I have no idea really about how it will take shape. All I know is, I wanna be the drummer Anyway here is a list of some things I think we might need to think about for this band: 1. Name of Band B. Sound of Band (instruments) *. Members. Who wants to join? 4. Rehearsal plans/schedule Q. Type of band. Covers or original compositions? So far as I can tell the only instruments that everyone can use are: Lute, Clarinet, Horn, and Cowbell. Some classes are naturally able to use the Clarinet and the Horn, everyone I believe can use the Lute. From what I've seen on test server, Minstrels can teach the Clarinet, the Horn, and the Cowbell. Turbine claims that Minstrels will be able to teach anyone any instrument, but I've only seen those three. So unless theyre high level quests, we're going to need minstrels to fill out the rhythm section with theorbos and drums. Anyway, people who are interested are encouraged to discuss the band here in this thread. P.S. Rock on!
