What fun! I'm sorry I missed the dancing, but I trust there will be future opportunities to 'shake a rug'.

This was great fun and a bit tricky. Miriel would call out on voice chat 1, 2, 3 go and we would try to synch our moves. The voice may have lagged a time or two. We seemed to do better on 1, 2, 3 than when go was added. This might be fun to do other times when stuck with waiting and low on pipe-weed, or at some event or other.

Here's a trick to handle those fast dance calls from the Dance Leaders: use macros, called shortcuts in LotRO. Example: /shortcut 37 /dance1 This puts a shortcut icon on quickslot 37 for the emote of /dance1 But you see no quickslot 37? To figure the number, note the first bar that starts with 1 including =, and figure that as slots 1-12. The quickslot bars go up in multiples of 12. Thus 1-12, 13-24, 25-36, 37-48. So the above example put the icon on the very top quickslot bar on the left. Go to the Menu/Options/Quickslots and choose to lock the bar chosen. You can add /shortcut 38 /dance2 and /shortcut 39 /dance3 to intuitively hit the dances in order when called. Have the new dance but don't see how to make it show? Instead of /dance1, use /dance_elf or whichever dance is being taught. Any race can learn all the racial dances, and they work as shortcuts too, if you want to synchronize dancing with a buddy. Miriel called out 1, 2, 3 on voice in our fellowship, then Ancalagon and I started dancing with her at the same time. Maybe we can try it as a raid...
