Aiya everyone playing, or interested in playing LotRO on Landroval US.
As was discussed a few days ago, there are plans to try and get some grouping together for a weekly get-together. It's been dubbed for us Europeans to have a better time to see each other ingame rather than in the middle of the night.
However, the idea is not to exclude any Valarite, member or friend. If any US (or any other non-European country of course) based players are interested, they are welcome to join.
So, here are some ideas I'd like to hear your thoughts about:
1.1) Kind of a doh point, but what time and day would suit best (that includes non-Euro players, but please, do keep in mind that it has to be within a reasonable GMT zone, so 19:00 EST is not an option ) for a weekly get-together?
1.2) I'd like those interested to start with fresh lvl 1 characters, or up to 20, to give those (mainly me ) who don't have any high characters a chance to join the fun.
1.3) Get all deeds while questing together.
1.4) Get "The Undying" title for everyone who participates.
1.5) Use these particular characters for this group only.
Additional ideas for other characters or for when joining up (for a week or more) may not be possible:
2.1) Step in later with any character of your choosing, as long as that character is within the main group's level range. That means Varda doesn't get to bring her WMD, Fainan, to a Great Barrow run if we're all 20s .
2.2) People who cannot attend any given week have free reign to catch up on their own, or start a side group with the intention of catching up (not for getting ahead, this won't be a competition!).
Last, but not least on this enquiry:
3.1) Any suggestions other than to those questions above?
3.2) Would you like to participate in this indeavour?
And finally, a thought that may be helpful, if 2.1 and 2.2 are adopted in this general idea:
I will try to keep track of our levels and progress, and perhaps even write a weekly report (in role-play style) on our adventures.
And that is aside from honorable mentions at the weekly sunday meetings of course!
