To Goblintown the Valar shall go! When: Sunday 7/6/08 1100 EST/1700 GMT-1 Meeting place: Rivendell Bard Purpose: To obtain all deed locations and buttons inside Goblin Town We will be starting out our journey by meeting up promptly at the Rivendell Bard. We will be venturing deep into Goblin Town to aquire all locations as well as those pesky buttons Bilbo has lost. We may encounter quest npc's during our journey but this will not be the focus of this run. So no worries if anyone needs to stop so you may continue a quest chain. All welcome from the great age of 44 upward. I can guide more than one fellowship if needed. Noone to be left behind. See you Sunday!

At 11:09 PM EDT Miriel (Mahamiriel LM) started leading Hurin (Hiurred CPT), Ulmo (Niequi MNS) and me (Irmogar GRD) through the hollows of Goblin-town. In perfect straight lines Maha guided us to all places and buttons we needed, doing an occasional quest for those who wanted any along the way. More or less precisely when we got that all done, Varda logged on. Not having the pleasure of a potential full fellowship to do things with very often, we discussed possible other things we could do, and agreed on doing an Urugarth run. We got company of Kent (Dirco BRG) from the Palantiri, so we had a fellowship of 6. Although it had been a year since Maha and I last were in that instance, Miriel led us through a nigh perfect Urugarth run, successfully finishing all the quests, bosses (e.g. the dragon Lhugrien, the warg-keeper and the Urugarth end-boss Lagmas) and class items we needed. Varda had to go soon, but we found a pleasant replacement in the person of Amroth (Lhee LM) to keep a fellowship of 6 (and help Maha with the routing now and then). Having two loremasters mezzing annoying adds makes for very comfortable questing by the way . From this experience I would say that this combo (LM/LM/BRG/CPT/MNS/GRD) is very much recommendable for nasty dungeons! About 6 hours of high-end questing, not one casualty (!), not once we got lost, all objectives fulfilled. Kudos to Miriel for initiating and leading this, and thanks to those who attended this very nice event. Irmo

A big thank you to those who attended the GT run! ;D
Irmo has covered the evening quite well with his summary. He did miss one tidbit though... Irmo repeatedly asking Kent (lvl 48 Burg) "Now little Dirco did you get that crate?" I am still laughing today over that (Kent did get all of his crates <nods>). Uru was a blast and thanks to all who made it such a wonderful run!
