Well met!

I am Curulindë Celeblammen of the Landroval server of Lord of the Rings Online. I am currently a level 40 minstrel looking for a kinship to call home.

A fellow minstrel I met in Bree, a lovely woman named Genessa of the Black Lion Fellowship, suggested Valar Guild as a possible kinship for a Tolkien-devotee as myself.

Later, while slaying foul undead in the Barrow-downs, I met a kinswoman of yours, the charming Finora, who suggested I speak with Fainan, the leader of the kinship. I have added Fainan to my list of friends, and hope to speak with her at her soonest convenience.

And meet we did! His name in the guild is Lindir. We had a great time chatting, as he is both knowledgeable and well-spoken, then went on to quest together in Evendim.

Suilad, mellyn!

I have been a member of the Valar Guild less than 24 hours and, in true Tolkien fashion, I already have three names: badgerbrock (my messageboard login), Lindar-V* (my Valar Guild name), and Curulindë (my LOTRO primary character name). Should I create a new messageboard account with 'Lindir' as the name?

I had a delightful time with Fainan last night as she quizzed me on my knowlege of Tolkien's works, then later as we 'borrowed' some stones from some large and very menacing but not-too-terribly bright giants. Although we were hungry, we did not stop to see whether they were cooking any mutton and, since we lacked a burglar, no pick-pocketing was involved. We do plan to return, however, as we have been invited to cater their get-together with a special homemade stew. ;D

It is very good to be among folk like me.



* Having the Roman numeral 'V' at the end of my name somehow makes me feel like a character out of Logan's Run. I'm a little long in the tooth. I hope I won't have to become a runner soon.

Do you mean compete against you in a trivia contest or to create one with you for others to take? As I prefer cooperative activities over competitive ones, I would rather do the latter.
