Heya heya heya Valar buddies!

You guys probably wont believe it, but its me
Manwe-(Valar). I did a search on MSN for "Valar guild" and I find that you guys are all still around! Im so happy.

It was about 8 years ago when the council formed, if my memory is right. Wow! 8 years!

What have I been doing since I last saw any of you...
Well, I lived in San Jose California and worked as a mechanic. When I met you guys I lived in Virginia, and now I have moved back, in May. I turned 30 in August, and I have left the auto industry. I received my GED in December and I have started attending college. Well thats in a nutshell really, I have done so much and gone through alot of changes since I was last active in the Valar guild. I will tell more sometime, but just so you all know Im doing fine, I always have been, and of course I never forgot about this crazy guild.

Over the years I tried to find you guys on bnet, I played Starcraft up until about 01'. Often I would come to the channel, but would find it empty, I figured the guild was gone.

I hope you all are well, Im glad to see some of the original members are still kicking around, and Im very glad to see so many new things going on with the membership and gaming.

I would like to apologise for leaving the guild like I did.
Back in 98-99 I had just moved to CA, and I started gaming Starcraft with my old highschool buddies. Well we were pretty competitive and I chose to make a different account to keep that seperate from the Valar guild, mainly because the atmosphere in the guild was a friendly one. Looking back, though, I hope i didnt hurt anyone's feelings. I moved on to other games outside of Starcraft and Diablo, I played Star Wars Galaxies, War3 (which I played some with the guild), and World of Warcraft(60 paladin on Doomhammer Eorl) though I havnt gamed since summer.

Anyways, Im glad you guys are still around. I am amazed at the volume of pages you guys have collected over the years. Keep up the good work!

Welcome back! It is so great to see you again! Last I heard, you were having major computer problems in California. Anyway, O Member for Life, come on over to WoW Lothar with at least one alternate when you get a chance, guild name natch. : ) We also will be on Lord of the Rings Online if it ever comes out.

Yay for browsers! I'm sorry you coudn't catch us on B.net. When the Diablo game rigged it so we went directly to our pre-named games and didn't fall out into a channel if we picked it, the channel fell into disuse. Huan ran bots there until Blizzard kicked them off, and Orodreth is trying to keep a bot there now.

I tried to hang onto the parting sword you gave me. Blizzard got wise to it and changed the name from Master's Sword of Haste to King's Sword of Haste in some glitch. Who'd think a glitch would make something more correct?

Ulmo, Orome, and my family are on WoW Lothar (although Fingon is now Bilbo). Eru emails about once or twice a year. Namo/Samwise awaits Lord of the Rings Online. Aule was last seen on EverQuest, but since our old guild server, Zebuxoruk, was removed, we were completely scattered, and most others seemed to have moved to WoW, some to DAoC. Melkor and Haleth/Angrod were playing DAoC. Irmo became Dreamlord, a Tolkien-only member, if you'd like to enjoy his Author's Page on the Tolkien Encyclopedia.
