The new WoW Branch page is up and running. As with everything WoW related it is a work in progress, but it will do what we need it to do for now.

Are you planning to stay on GeoCities?

The member list could be very helpful. Perhaps it could include the person's server country if that happens, such as Europe, or N America East.

If members keep their guild names in some version and keep them listed for friend lists, we can still find each other. Adding our v on the end can often make a name usable, or an obscure alternate.

The only thing I would mention is the Valar Guild tab leads the Guild homepage to open in the same window ( replace the WoW page )

I like links to other pages open in a new window thus allowing me to close the new page without closing the original too.
As it is now you will have to use "Back" to return to the WoW page and if you have been jumping around in the Guildpages you need to hit Back quite some times instead of just closing it.
Not a big deal but since you asked for feedback ;D

Varda: No, we are not planning on staying with Geocities. We were hoping we could move it to a Valar server once it was totally ready.

Once WoW is released we will definately be keeping the members list updated with each person's game name (if different from their guild name) and how to get a hold of each other.

Elatan: Which browser are you using? On my computer all of the external links (Valar Guild, Forum and Official Site) open to a new window. Hopefully it was just a one time error, maybe to do with the browser or an older version of flash player. I'll look into it a bit more.

Thanks again for the input, Turgon and I will be making some more changes to the site over the next week.

You'll more than likey have a list of "game names." If members can't flat out use their Guild name (which is quite likely) the best bet is to do what we're doing for MEO, which is use an obscure name for the character (such as me with Auros) or create an alternate name based on your character (such as Varda with Fainan, which means "I emit light"). In fact, using the same names wouldn't hurt if you play both :}
