Hello I'm William and I'm somewhat of a Tolkien fan. I read about this place from the lotro forums and I saw that this be a very nice, close-knit guild that all share your Tolkien fandom in common.
I would like to join the guild, but I noticed that I would have to take a test on Tolkien lore. I will admit that I haven't touched either the hobbit, LoTR, or Silmarillion since I was a kid so I'd just rather get acquainted with everyone first.
Everyone from what I've seen seems very friendly and close to home which is what I look for in a guild. It's annoying to have to search for a guild/kinship and see that it's inactive or the guild members don't know anything about the culture.
Like, how are you gonna say you love dwarves but don't know anything about the battle of the five armies or about durin the deathless? as for my knowledge of tolkien, as well as my preferred culture of dwarvish, i only know a slight bit of the Khuzdul...
anyways i hope that i can get along with everyone here and have a good time getting to know everyone

The entry test is only a few simple questions over LotR only, taken live as many times as you can find a tester. It's just to show that you actually read the LotR and can handle interacting with others who've read it. Trying some questions a few times for fun might be good. The main problem people have is the movie overwriting their memory of the books.
I'm mostly on as Fainan, Tinwetari, Timbridhil, and Tintalli lately.
We're looking forward to seeing you in-game too!
