Just a quick update: The last 2 weeks + has been a trail of odd happenings, most bad, some good. As a preface, Im consulting in Houston and driving up to my house in Dallas about every 2 weeks:
1. Two weeks ago I ended up on the side of the road about 1/2 way to Dallas. Ended up in a hotel, sharing the last room in the place with my daughter.
2. Heading back the same weekend, my car stopped within 10 miles of the same spot. I did take the vehicle into the shop and they didnt find anything before heading back.
3. My son graduated high school last weekend.
4. My company moved us to a new office, ready..., last weekend.
5. Driving up to the graduation, my car blew a tire (and I mean blew.. nothing left of it but rags) in the construction 30 miles north of Houston. Ended up backing traffic up 15 miles plus.
6. Got the spare on, got out of the traffic, and didnt get the cops on me. Yay! Started again for Dallas. You guessed it: On the side of the road again. Finally gave up and got towed into Dallas. Please note that I went to not 1 but 2 mechanics to see about this before the drive. The exhaust place said my catalytic converter was fine and the system passed the pressure test. The mechanic said he had the car run for multiple hours with no problem.
7. Got into Dalllas, took the car to my normal mechanics. Less than an hour and they tell me:
8. I get back to my new building (stories there too) and I find I have the first meeting in the new building and they forgot to set up any of the conference rooms for phones or internet.
9. I leave the building and find that they didnt paint the step off areas in the garage and fell on my face in the dark.
Obviously, this is why Gorlim is unhappy. No funny jokes Irmo.
So all of this travail aside, this is why Im intermittent for the last 2 or 3 weeks. Hopefully, Sauron will stop looking at me and my life can go back to normal.

- my head gaskets (valve cover gasket) are leaking oil
- my distributor harness and sparkplugs are shot (oil penetrated them)
- my O2 sensors are bad
- etc. etc. etc. to the tune of $1900 bucks.
