OK Guys, the destination for we high level guys is going to be Stratholme this week.
Don't forget this thread can be used to discuss destinations for all levels of questing, so low and mid-level guys can try to organize a group here as well.
Questing:
We didn't have quite a full group of 60s for Stratholme, so we decided to hit Dire Maul West instead, going with Eonwe's Paladin, Varda's Hunter, Sauron's Warlock, and Oromë's Rogue all at lvl 60 and Fundin's Hunter at lvl 48.
Our first task was to clear out the Ancient Protectors before we fought Tendris Warpwood. Dealing with him, we attacked the big Ancient himself. We got him in two tries; thanks to Sauron's Soulstoning, we didn't have to run back. We then marched further in, our goal being part of Sauron's epic mount quest. We found the area, and in scouting the situation, Oromë found the Library, so we got to complete "Elven Legends." Unfortunately Oromë and Fundin had to go, and so we were down to 3. Merry joined us at the time, but Sauron had to go shortly as well. Thanks to Merry and Sauron, however, I was able to complete "The Light and How to Swing it" and get the Paladin DM trinket while we had the way to the library clear.
Having only us three, we decided to go after Zul'Farak. It turns out Merry had never got his carrot on a stick :} The three of us fought into the Gahz'rilla area with little trouble, stopping only for scarab shells for Merry. Once it was safe, we summoned Gahz'rilla and dealt the death blow. Having a bit more time, we decided to try our luck at Divino-matic Rod. We did very well, wiping out the waves as they came (with the help of Bly and his men, of course). Nekrum also came up during the fight, and we were able to claim his amulet in the process of fighting for the Divino-matic Rod. Unfortunately, we didn't talk to Bly fast enough, and he disappeared on us, so we will have to go back later for the rod.
Also, it was a good night to be Varda, as she won many a greed roll :}
