Participants: Eonwë, Fellene/Dracxil (for the Deadmines), Varda, Ulmo, Merry (for Arathi)
Areas: Westfall/Sentinel Hill, Arathi Highlands
Quests: (Westfall) Van Cleef, (Arathi) Stromgarde Badges, Wanted: Otto and Falconcrest, Trelane's Defense, Breaking the Keystone.
First, we went with Ulmo's new Druid into the Deadmines. Since 2 of us were 40+, we easily got to the instance, through the instance, and killed Van Cleef with no deaths (as it should be :}). Ulmo picked up a level and a new armor (Defias chest armor).
After a break for quest completing and discussion on where to go next, Ulmo switched to his lvl 60 Mage and we all met outside of Stromgarde. During this time Dracxil bid farewell and Merry joined the group.
Once we all gathered (and did a bit of fishing and quest sharing) we went into the keep and took on Otto and Falconcrest. When we got to them, we tried to pollymorph two (since Merry was also a Mage). However, it didn't quite work out and we ended up wiping them from the face of the earth as quickly as we could (still with no deaths!). In the keep I also picked up the last of my Stromgarde badges, and that was another quest complete. That done, we made a stop in the safe zone of Stromgarde and sold our excess.
Our next stop was the Ogre zone of Stromgarde to get the agate for Trelane's Defense. Swiping that from the corpse of a shaman, we returned to Refuge point to complete our quests.
We then went to deal with Fozruk for Breaking the Keystone. It wasn't a long hunt, and once we found him he was disposed of quickly. Taking the rod from him, we went to the Circle of Inner binding, clearing out its current inhabitants to get to the keystone. Breaking the Keystone was easier said than done however, for once we activated it, Fozruk's brother appeared! (screenshots to be put up somewhere later). We fought with him and brought him down, not once but twice (two people doing the quest)!
Having completed that quest line as far as it would take us in Arathi, we turned our attention back to Trelane's defenses, heading into the ogre area to climb the Tower of Arathor and obtain the three items. Fighting to the tower, we then triggered the defense using the enchanted agate prepared at the end of the last part. The defenses were summoned, and they helped us make the Ogres pay for inhabiting a human stronghold. Gathering the three items, we returned to Refuge Pointe to complete the quest. ocne there, we were told we had to go to Stormwind, so Ulmo opened a portal and took us there. Upon completing the quest, Varda, Merry, and Ulmo made their farewells, and that was the end of the Guild questing.
