Have you ever seen the movie Braveheart? Fantastic movie. Yes a bit bloody and gruesome but what do you expect it's a movie about a medievel warrior and that's how it was done in those days, face to face. The story is amazing though and I can't help getting all teary eyed at the end when Robert the Bruce asks the armies to fight with him and then Mel Gibson's voice comes in while the sword hits the ground after being thrown by his best friend "In the year of our lord 1314 patriots of Scotland, starving and outnumbered, charged the fields of Bannockburn, they fought like warrior poets...they fought like Scotsmen, and won their freedom" Probably my favorite movie of all time, Sorry LotR movies when elves are in helm's deep and the dead armies fight in the pelennor fields I just can't pick you over braveheart.

I love Braveheart! I have seen it several times, and every time it's on tv I watch it again. A bit unusual though, the girl gets killed in the first non-prologue battle of the movie. But hey, if it's really based on history, guess you can't change that. Great battles, and of course there is blood and stuff... it's a history-based action-war movie. No better excuse to add a little gross detail, is there? And I probably liked best the moment where the King is dying, and the last thing he hears is.... FREEEEDOOOOM (or something like that). Don't get me on details, please, it's been a while since I saw it last.

Matty, you need to try and give a little more to the conversation than a single sentence. For some topics, a single sentence can be fine, but in the majority of threads, especially when you see other posts giving input to the discussion, you need to do so as well. Both threads and replies to them should be constructive (they help out or add to the discussion in some way). Just putting a post to put a post in not appreciated. Quality over Quantity. It also helps us get to know you better. Please go back to some of your recent posts and add a bit to the discussion.
Take care. Eonwë
