heh, stupid search, I found it by browsing the pages one by one besides, if Khaira says in her reports its already been said, then it is so. She has the final word on that as far as I am concerned. Until I ban her of course  nah just kidding, would never ban someone as beautiful (yes, I do possess and am quite masterful in the art of sucking up) you, Khaira ;D |

Yeah, silly search.. Unfortunately for me, she posted that list after I submitted my entry based on what the search provided. BUT you must realize that as a veteran programmer I must now fight the urge to make it my life's work to fix the search! Must .. not... fix... search... ack...  .. ..  ... search.. must not ..fix.. not... must ... unfix find.. find not unmix shirt... er.. hmm.. Hulk confused <takes nap>. |

It has been an issue in several emails between me, Varda and Eonwe for a short time now, so I thought it best to ask what you guys and gals think of it.
This game's original rules were something like when a name was repeated, it would be closed down and a new game would be started. So the question really is, how do you all feel about it? Want to continue this game or restart or just quit entirely?

Personally, I think we're getting the hang of it. At the beginning some people weren't quite sure how to check for repeats, but now that I have my Big Scary Master List of Doom, I think it will be OK. Besides, it's not Arathorn's fault he can't find the page. Blame everything on the computer. But for the record, it is on the top of page 2. As for the list, I'll probably repost it every once in a while, unless someone has a better idea of how to work with it. Finally, I think we should stick this game out until we get stuck and then start over. How about it, everyone?
Just to keep the game going...

I'm not actually blaming the computer, it's the search function in this message board software. There seem to be a few bugs in it (I also tried searching for messages by userid using the "Search for posts made by" option, and it worked for my ID but not Turgon's... says it couldn't find his <shrug>. There's apparently a patch coming out for the MB so we'll have to see if it fixes the prob or not. Since it seems I'm the only one actually using the search, not many probs have popped up <chuckle>. SO.. er... that's it... <steps off soap box and promptly falls down open manhole... Bwaaaaaaaaaaa!!!  > |

Since this game is apparently done for (and has been for a while from my view :}) I'm now locking the thread so it can fade to the background. Give it a couple of weeks, then maybe we can do it again. Just remember to scan the "Master List" when it's given to make sure you are not repeating a name :}
Now let's bow our heads as we push this thread into the raging sea of discussion and watch it be carried away by the tide...
