Raid/Quest Proposal Protocol?

My main, Galadhalion, has finally reached L48 and I'm starting to look with serious intent at the various raids and such out there. Helegrod, Sarnur, the Rift ... all of these are filling up my quest queue. Unfortunately, with MoM coming out, I fear it will become harder than ever to find a good-sized group to go on many of these quests, as most of the people in the right "level neighborhood" have probably done them so many times they're sick of them!

This notwithstanding, I've been enjoying the Friday night Carn Dum runs, and I'm wondering if there's an established way to organize one of these beforehand? (I assume only officers can make in-game announcements and/or change the kinship message.)

Well, Gal, as Warlord, I am assigned the task of running events. As far as I'm concerned though you can go ahead and schedule something you want to do too Or if you want, I eagerly take suggestions on what to run on Friday nights. I know it might not be the best night for everyone, but I didn't get a lot of suggestions when I asked, heh.

Tis true, only an officer in the kin can send out kinship mail or change to motd. If you do run an event I'm sure that Varda or myself or some other officer would be happy to make an announcement for you. Or, you can see about becoming a Warlord yourself, to take some of the load off me and get the privileges of spamming the entire guild at once for your very own

What are the responsibilities of a Warlord? I wouldn't want to commit to anything I couldn't follow up on.

I would talk to Varda about it in depth, but as a Warlord, my responsibilities only seem to include running an event every once in a while
