That's the description from The Complete Guide to Middle-Earth. Somehow this doesn't sound like a "drat I fell in the river" kind of river but a "let's go get some riverwater" kind of river :}
Although, perhaps dreaming of Elven-feasts is not exactly a pleasant dream to a spider, unless the Elven-feast can be interpretted differently for them :}
