I think 'neutral' is the best way to go. I site Boromir as my reason. He was good but turned evil for a fraction of a moment when he tried to take the ring from Frodo. Even Gandalf and Galadriel showed 'fear' when the ring was offered to then. That could be construed as their 'evil', even the thought of taking the ring.
And, I have to agree with Eonwe on text rpgs... they just seemed too arbitrary and boundless to me ... my two cents <clink, clink>. ;D
