Small and round I was made. Into the West I did fade. Passing to one who came and went, from one who stayed until the end. Of me and my siblings only three remained to travel across the sea. While my ruler was in fire taken, my flame would let Man's heart awaken.

I'll go with Narsil, bestowed to the line of Elendil who refused Sauron, it was broken but the shards were kept together. At the end of the third age it was made whole again and passed to Aragorn, heir of Elendil, its former master, with him facing the armies of Sauron.

I don't think it's a person, because of the grip of stone, and the turning red when broken, among other things, instead thinking it's a wall, tower, or mountainrange itself.
"In cunning and malice I was wrought" and "White I was in days of pride" seem to contradict themselves for any place I can come up with though... I'll put my guess on Minas Morgul.

I feared this might be too large a question, but I hoped you would get it anyway. Correct, the Stoors preferred the riversides and flat lands, and lived at the Anduin's shores, having mostly contact with Men. Correct, the Harfoots dealt with Dwarves, and lived in the foothills of the mountains, preferring highlands and hillsides. Less correct, the Fallohides. While for location it is indeed said to be a northerly branch (and thus most likely to have contact with the Northmen, I hadn't come to that conclusion yet) they preferred another terrain-type and, it is written, had mostly contact with another race of Free Peoples, at least over the other breeds. For getting so many facts right I'll give you an 8/10. I'm not sure how it works if you get most of a question right but not all of it, but I grant you the right to ask the next question. I would, however, like someone to state the missing facts I mentioned

My turn? Really? I hadn't even answered the question completely. Oh well.
Before the hobbits migrated over the Misty Mountains, they were divided into 3 breeds. What are the names of these 3 breeds, what terrain/area did each live in, and what races of Free Peoples did each have most contact with?

Before looking into the book, I'll try this once.
Bilbo gets compared to a rabbit, the first time by a troll. Which troll I cannot say. The second time by... I'm in doubt between another troll, Gollum, a spider, or Smaug.
I'll go with Gollum.

If I recall it was to save Beregond, not Faramir. Not sure if it was an Orc leader or a Troll, though.

Correct! Wow, didn't think anyone would get them without looking in the book ;D
Your turn to ask a question!

Allrighty. Here's the next question, may be a little difficult:
After rescuing the hobbits from the Barrow-downs, Tom Bombadil called their 5 ponies by names he had given them, as well as his own, the sixth, Fatty Lumpkin. What are these names? You'll have to name at least 3 out of the 5, although naming all 5 of them would of course be the most impressive.

Not Nori, and not Gloin. 9 missers so far, so you can check the book from now on if you want. Or you can try without, not much choice left

No, not it. What do you mean with 'only one left'? There were 13 dwarves, only 7 answers have been given. 1 more mistake and you can check the book

Ah, getting closer. Bombur did indeed carry Bilbo on his back in the goblin-tunnels, but not at the crucial moment I mentioned. At that point, another Dwarf was already carrying him. This same dwarf got reprimanded (sp?) for dropping Bilbo by Gandalf the next time Bilbo saw them, east of the Misty Mountains. 5 dwarves down! Who's next? After 8 wrong dwarves have been given, I shall grant permission to check the book.
