Hiya all, I found a site that has a number of pre-made songs and instructions on how to play them in-game: lotro.warcry.com/db/songs.php--- You can download the songs from there, here are the instructions on setup/play: Download the song and save it to a folder titled music under your My Documents\Lord of the Rings Online with the extension .abc. For example save the song Rock Lobster to My Documents\Lord of the Rings Online\music\rock_lobster.abc You can then type /play rock_lobster in game. You must have your instrument equipped and have typed /music -- I'll post more if I find other song sites

Here's another site with many songs: lotro-music.com/Try them out first just in case :-P There are also MIDI to ABC converters, but I haven't looked into those. Happy tuning!

Here's an ABC thread on LotRO. This is where I picked up Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald, sounded best on lute, interesting on harp, bonkers on drum. A better version probably exists; let me know so we can /psync (command to play it at the same time). forums.lotro.com/showthread.php?t=40311&highlight=abc+musicLinks to more info are on this page. I used Notepad to copy an .abc file into the LotRO Music folder under My Documents/Lord of the Rings Online. The name of the file should have an .abc ending, although I had some still run as .txt. The first part of the file before .abc is what you type after /play. Thus for the Wreck of the Edmund Fitztgerald, the file was named Wreck.abc so my character equips a lute and types /music /play Wreck

here is some links of how to use and save ABC files for lotro lorebook.lotro.com/wiki/Mechanics:ABC_Notationand if the link doesnt work, copy and past it, it seems the :ABC_Notation seems to be not included in the url I'll look up for more sites to get more songs from, and if you feel like takeling a song you want to create, here is a small site you could go by, same concept of how you would use it for lotro.. www.formulus.com/hymns/How_to_Write_ABC.htmlOne more thing, i also found the begining part to Arathorn's link, it also has a midi to abc converter(havent tried it yet) but its a cool little site that links to Arathorn's link lotroabc.googlepages.com/tata for now
