Ok Guys, we're going to give it a try on Sunday Night after the Meeting. We're going to meet in Cathedral Square in Stormwind, in front of the Cathedral of the Light. Cathedral Square is a large section that can be found on the map (and is fairly central in Stormwind) so just hit 'M' once you reach Stormwind to get your bearings. Remember to bring 1 silver for the charter.
Once we're all there, we'll grab the charter and give it a go.
Take care. Eonwë

Hail! We also have this that a few have agreed on for the tabard. Check the options and give your input. Icon 40 with color 3, Background 34, Border 2 with color 3. The site is wowvault.ign.com/?dir=guilds&content=tabardsTake care. Eonwë

The choices look good to me (although I was thinking of a darker blue for the background colour ). Is there a way on their site to see them (the choices) ALL together?

Not that I know of, unfortunately.
That is the darker blue of the two we were looking at as I recall :}
Take care :} Eonwë

Actually, looks like you CAN test it at the Guild Master in the game itself. Unfortunately you have to go through the lists of choices one by one to find the options you want. I don't see a way to go to the # they've provided on their web site An oversight perhaps? :-P

We got together to try and form the guild in WoW last night, but it turns out that the charter requires 10 (9 plus the founder) unique signatures (read accounts) to be initialized after all, not merely 10 characters as we had hoped.
At the time, we did not have the number of accounts required. We fell short 5 signatures.
Until we are able to get that many members, we can't form the guild in WoW. So, if you're a Valar Guild member playing WoW and you want us to expand there, this is your call to arms. We'll eventually get there, that I'm sure of.
All you have to do (besides play WoW) is come to the meetings every Sunday. When we have 10 accounts among us all, we can set up the guild. Any attempts will be made at the end of the meeting. Between the formation and after, however, this time can be used to find Guild members to quest with. Here's your chance to game with Guild members :}
Take care. Eonwë

Welcome to the WoW players, Ulmo. To all WoW gamers: The charter is still carried on Eonwe's Auros character. We are continuing to add account signatures. You still have a chance to be one of the branch founders. If you don't usually play at the same time Eonwe does, you can come to a Sunday AIM meeting and catch him live then. Decide with him where to do the signing, and you can get help with an escort from others at the main meeting. You can be in WoW at the same time as AIM.

On colors for the tabard:
I understand and am pleased that the light blue background is for Manwe. It also has the advantage of not being heavily used by other guilds. An advantage is that it might show up well in a fight, helping us find each other.
The downside is that it clashes with a lot of colors and does not show the flame as well as a darker color, and the flame is the important part.
Black might also be an option, as we are using the Flame Imperishable of Eru for our symbol. Black could be for space, since Eru is everywhere, not just on Middle-earth.
Once we pick a tabard, we are stuck with it, unless we totally reform the guild with a new charter. Let's put in our two cents now before it's too late, and then be content with whatever we wind up with. Whatever we get will be a good thing!

Ahh, black! The colour that goes with everything.
I myself kept leaning towards a very dark blue, but black works for me too. (... er.. OR how about a raven that has a touch of blue on the sides? <snortle!>)

Nice indeed to hear ( see ) Ulmo will be joining WoW ;D I guess black could be nice too even I like the blue better. Black is a bit Morgothish I would really like to help on the founding topic but it seems impossible to get the US-Cd. I am willing to bank-transfer the money in advance if a member is willing to check out the cost for buying and shipping to Denmark.

You have a point about black being Morgothish. Also, I keep seeing black backgrounded tabards, so maybe we could at least try to be different.

Don't know if you've seen this, but there is now a more advanced tabard-viewer/designer available. It's pretty useful. The icon we have chosen is located at the beginning of the second page. www.worldofwar.net/tabard/Have fun!
