I was thinking, wouldn't it be cool to get a bunch of guild 'geeks' together to program? We'd have to pick a language (Java?) that's cross platform and free.
Stuff I would like to do: Protocol stuff Database stuff (the Encyclopedia project perhaps?) various other things that happen to cross my mind

Sounds cool! I'll join you as soon as I know how to program... shouldn't be that hard, should it?

No clue on it being hard, it wasn't for me. And we'd be learning a language together . -- Farmer Maggot

I'm leaning towards Python (http://python.org) for a language, any input?

Anyone still interested in this? I have a good bit of Java and Python experience, and I'm sure we could find a fun project to work on. Also have an AI Programming book that I have yet to crack
